Philanthropy and Society Today

Philanthropy and Society Today is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed and open access journal for contemporary scholarship on philanthropy. This journal is published by Cipta Aksara Literasi Media (Calm Publika) in collaboration with the Center of Commercial and Corporate Law (C3L), Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. It publishes legal, economic, policy, managerial, sociological and religious-studies research on how giving is organised, governed and evaluated, including Islamic philanthropy such as zakat and waqf. Issues are published online twice a year, in January and June.

Publication frequency: two issues per year (January and June), plus online first.
